Nancy Borrell has been selected to participate in the first class of the NC Workforce Development Leadership Academy! (June 05, 2008)

Congratulations to Nancy Borrell for being selected as one of the first ten (10) participants in the first NC Workforce Development Leadership Academy.

 

The NC Workforce Development Leadership Academy selection was a statewide competitive process to identify and develop senior executive workforce development board leaders.  Gene Scott, Director of the NC Workforce Development Training Center made the announcement through e-mail on May 22, 2008.

 

This first class meeting is scheduled for August 26 – 28, 2008 in the Raleigh area. The Leadership Academy will be facilitated by Donna Crudder.  Additional information will be provided to the participants to prepare them for the first class session.

 

Students for first NC Workforce Development Leadership Academy are Nancy Borrell, Carole Coates, Regina Crooms, Denise Day, Walter Dorsey, Carter Dozier, Vincent Gilreath, Althea Hairston, Geneva Mixon, Lillian Plummer.

 

Four members of this group are from the Piedmont Triad Region:

            Nancy Borrell, Vincent Gilreath, Althea Hairston, Lillian Plummer.
